I found the letters used to craft this painting from Dollar Tree. On the original canvas, it provides an additional three-dimensional element to an already elevated frame.
The words read "Family"... and after moving the letters around I noticed what I would call the depiction of an Angel found in the frame of the words.... ones maybe holding something in their hands if viewed horizonantlly, or with wings and a lower half that flows into the water when viewed as a figure facing you directly.. An arrow in the center alludes to the belief in how our lost ones and family eventually become angels and ancestors... l further developed the work to incorporate other colors and ideas that came to mind alongide it. Made with wood pieces from dollar tree and ash from my incense...
